09.00am to 16.00pm Monday to Friday, 10.00am to 14.00pm

Shopping
Limerick City Centre contains the main shopping areas,
of which Cruises Street offers the best for shopping.
Outside the city, there is shopping available in the
Cresent Shopping Centre near Raheen, the new Jetland
Centre in Caherdavin and the Castletroy Centre in
Castletroy. There is also the Parkway Shopping Centre
situated at the end of the Childers Road which also has
two Retail Outlets near to it.
Food & Drink
Limerick has a host of highly praised excellent quality
restaurants, ranging from traditional Irish food to
international food including French, Italian, American,
Indian, Thai, Chinese and Greek.
As you might expect, there are plenty of pubs in
Limerick City. There is a good selection of Pubs with
Traditional Irish music which usually starts around
9.30pm. Most pubs in Limerick open at 10.00am and close
around midnight. Alot of pubs will serve hot food and
snacks and other have an ajoining nightclub if you feel
like staying out late.
Tourist Attractions
Limerick is rich with Touist attractions. Located on the
way to Shannon
Airport, the 15th Century Bunratty castle medieval
castle that is a must see if you are in Limerick. Near
the castle is the Folk Park consisting of 25 houses, a
village street and workshops. In the city, King John's
Castle at the edge of the Shannon, was built by King
John in 1210. South on the castle is St. Mary's
Cathedral, which still a place of worship today. Other
attractions include the Celtic Park and Gardens heritage
park, Croom Mills country mill and heritage centre,
Lough Gur stone age centre, Adare village and the Treaty
Stone Landmark.
