from Dublin to Killarney and the Ring of Kerry. On the

the real un spoilt beauty of Ireland.
Day
1 - Arrive in Dublin
We can arrange to have your car
hire in Ireland delivered to your hotel as an
alternative to collecting it in Dublin
Airport. For your first day we suggest that you take
in some of the sights of Dublin city. Take a tour of St.
Patrick's Cathedral where Jonathan Swift was once Dean.
Then view the 8th century Book of Kells in Trinity
College's library. For your stay in Dublin, you are
better leaving the car in the garage- Dublin has a good
variety of "Hop-on Hop-off" bus tours which
are a great way to explore the city.
Day

Drive south through green farming country stopping for
photos at the Rock of Cashel. Continue to Blarney Castle
to acquire the "gift of eloquence" by kissing
the famous stone. Blarney Woolen Mills have an excellent
shop with an excellent giftware range. After blarney,
travel towards Killarney. There are a good range of both
hotels & B&B's in Killarney which make it a
great place to stop.
Day

Today enjoy a scenic tour around the Ring of Kerry where
you will find superb views of mountains and Atlantic
coastline. Plenty of stops will permit you to appreciate
nature at its best. Stop outside Killarney to visit
Muckross Gardens, elegantly set on the shores of
Muckross Lake. The Killarney Golf & Fishing Club is
just outside the town and has two excellent courses in a
beautiful setting.

Drive out towards Listowel and then cross the River
Shannon by ferry. View the awe-inspiring Cliffs of Moher,
a massive wall plunging to the Atlantic. Continue
through the Burren Country, renowned for flora and
prehistoric monuments. If you like seafood, stop off at
Morans on the Weir which is just outside Galway. It is
famous for it's Oysters & Mussels, both of which go
well with their excellent pints of Guinness. Afterwards,
head into Galway and your city centre hotel. The Great
Southern Hotel on Eyre Square is the top hotel in town.
For a more moderate budget, Jurys Galway Inn is clean,
comfortable, conveniently located & very reasonable.
